Digital Marketing Expert

Digital Marketing - Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India - Full Time

Experience :  8-10 years, lesser if the candidate is exemplary.

Duties and Responsibilities

Support the execution of digital marketing campaigns to drive brand awareness and generate leads
Establish and maintain consistent brand and user experience across Alion's digital channels, both internal and external
Draft compelling website, social, and email content in line with marketing, UX, and Search Engine Optimization (SEO) best practices
Develop web pages, marketing landing pages, and other web properties (including gated/ungated forms, blogs, and branded microsites)
Design and manage paid and organic search strategies, including SEO
Mature and manage Alion's social media channels, including aligning social activity to Alion's overall editorial calendar to ensure coordination and integration
Support development and execution of email marketing and nurture campaigns, including tracking and reporting on analytics to help optimize campaign performance
Manage assets and database information via CMS and marketing automation tools (required), plus basic HTML coding (preferred); recommend marketing operations tools and best practices
Work with Marketing teammates to execute paid media campaigns; maintain ad tracking mechanisms (tracking code, pixels, etc.) and set parameters for them within the site's architecture
Capture, synthesize, and report on analytics to gauge success of digital marketing activities against targets; take action or make recommendations to optimize experience, conversations, engagement, sentiment, etc., including AB and multivariate testing
Keep current on digital and social trends to provide ongoing counsel on best practices to Marketing teammates and internal stakeholders


Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline and 2-5 years of relevant experience supporting integrated digital marketing campaigns (social media, web, and email) on behalf of a brand or product
    
Qualifications

Strong web content development and social media writing/communication skills
Strong grasp of digital marketing best practices across websites, landing pages, social media, email, mobile, banner ads, online video, paid search, SEO, etc. in support of both brand awareness and lead generation campaigns
Understanding of digital analytics and the ability to translate data into actionable insights; experience using analytics tools to communicate outcomes and ROI
Demonstrated understanding and use of major social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, etc. as part of integrated marketing campaigns
Working knowledge of HTML and web-based technologies
Experience with Drupal and/or WordPress or similar content management systems, HubSpot or similar marketing automation platforms, and Google Analytics
Strong project management skills; able to work independently on multiple assignments while maintaining high quality results; deadline- and detail-oriented.
