Senior IT Recruiter

HR - Chennai, India - Full Time

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

  • Proficiency in handling recruitment activities like resource management, vendor management etc.,
  • Ability to conduct interviews at all level both telephonic and face to face
  • Lead the hiring process which may include collecting and filing of paperwork, salary negotiations and provide assistance for new employee
  • Designing and implementing overall recruitment strategy
  • Monitor and apply HR recruitment best practices
  • Provide analytical and well documented recruitment reports to the management and the recruitment team
  • Using sourcing strategies like Referral generation, Direct Sourcing, Networking, Mass Mailing so as to reach out to a maximum qualified pool of candidates.
  • Maintaining and developing candidate database and trackers.
  • Responsible for articulating and negotiating job offers with candidates and clearly communicating all aspects of the offer including the salary, benefits, bonuses, relocations, etc.
  • Follow-up with candidates for Post-Employment Reference Checks, Notice Period Negotiations, etc. till joining.
  • Advising management on hiring and compensation guidelines.
  • Use data and statistics to make informed decisions that solve real-world business problems
  • Develop and measure the success of recruitment procedures
  • Improves organization attractiveness by recommending new policies and practices; monitoring job offers and compensation practices; emphasizing benefits and perks.

 DESIRED ATTRIBUTES AND SKILLS

  • Proven work experience as a recruiter
  • Solid ability to conduct different types of interviews (structured or Competency basd etc.,)
  • Proven ability to work and make decisions individually
  • Must have good understanding of Recruitment life cycle along with a good understanding on the technology
  • Should have good communication and people skills.
  • Phone Skills, Recruiting, Interviewing Skills, Supports Diversity, Employment Law, Results Driven, Professionalism, Organization, Project Management etc.,

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent, preferably Masters in HRM
  • Candidate should have 8-10 years of experience in recruitment
  • Should be from IT service industry
  • Intermediate or advanced knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
