Educational qualifications required : Bachelor’s or a Master’s degree in Pharma or Lifesciences
Experience: Candidate needs to have at least 2-5 years of relevant experience. Exposure to medical transcription or medical records/analysis would be an added advantage.
Roles and Responsibilities :
Creating datasets for medical algorithms
Do secondary research activities such as referencing medical articles, magazines, posters, websites such as WebMD, Mayo Clinic, Center for disease control (CDC), etc
Do primary research activities such as evidence based research using Uptodate, Clinical Key, First Consult, Cochrane, Wiley
Do secondary research activities such as referencing medical articles, magazines, posters, websites such as WebMD, Mayo Clinic, Center for disease control (CDC), etc.
Use databases to extract data from National Clearing House, FDA/NDC/Rxnorm/drugs.com, Mtsamples/any medical trans doc site for samples, UMLS Terminology, ICD - 10, LOINC, SNOMED CT – Clinical Finding, etc.
Interact with medical team
Develop methods for collecting and analyzing data using various sources and reporting systems.
Present information in a way that is concise, clear and easily accessible to all users.
Present data and participate in meetings as needed.
Prepare documentation of all reporting and analysis.
Prior experience /skill sets required :
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent presentation and listening skills
Exposure to US markets with a strong grasp of the fundamental concepts
Ability to work under pressure to meet agreed deadlines
Passion, energy, and enthusiasm to drive results
Proficient in secondary and primary research in detail
Showcase keen interest to learn new concepts and technologies
Demonstrating good technical competence of understanding, and knowledge on search engines
Responsible for analyzing, compiling, and validating crucial medical data/records/health information.
Must be proficient in the use of computers and programs that specialize in data collection
